Basia
Contact:
She loves mountains, dogs, and Italian cuisine (although she can’t cook). She can talk endlessly about Polish music and literature, so before you ask a question, make sure you have plenty of time 😊
In her lessons, apart from traditional learning, you will listen to songs, watch a Polish movie, or listen to a radio broadcast. And you will play Taboo! Basia is sure that you can really learn the Polish language. Seriously!
She is convinced that in the process of learning, apart from understanding the rules of the language itself, one should also get to know Polish everyday life - what people live by at bus stops, our colleagues at work, characters on TV or artists on stage.
She believes that Polish is quite logical and interesting. It’s hard to get bored while learning it. She loves to observe how the language lives, how it is used in corporate meetings, on the street, and in conversations with friends.
Basia is a native of Wrocław. For over ten years, she has been teaching Polish and loves her work. She is a graduate of philological studies with postgraduate specialization in teaching Polish as a foreign language. She is the founder of Polka. Besides teaching, she works in a corporation, so she is familiar with business realities. She is also an author of children’s books.
